About Me
As a person with a culturally diverse background and exposures, I love treating people from all walks of life with open-mindedness and empathy. My goal is to help you learn and retain skills to face life’s twists and turns with confidence. Getting to know you as a person, and making sure you are comfortable with the treatment plan, are the most important things in our work together.
I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients, from severely mentally ill populations in hospitals needing emergency care, to underserved community clinics, to patients seeking weekly therapy in outpatient clinics. I have extensive training in medical and psychiatric assessments, psychopharmacology, and evidenced-based treatments for mental health disorders. This has helped me understand which people need therapy, medications, both, or neither.
I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you have about psychiatric treatment during a free 15 minute phone consultation. It will be an honor for me to guide you in moving towards greater emotional wellness and life satisfaction.
